The initial version of the game was released on iOS in December 2009. In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field. As players advance through the game, new types of birds become available, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has also released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game. Is the second puzzle video game in the Angry Birds series, developed by Rovio Entertainment. Based on the wildly successful Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons was released for devices using Apple's iOS in October 2010. Ports to other devices were developed soon after.

Is the third Action video game in the Angry Birds series, developed by Rovio Entertainment. Based on the wildly successful Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio was released for devices using Apple's iOS, Google's Android and Mac OS X in March 2011. The game was released as a marketing tie-in with the 20th Century Fox animated film Rio, and was promoted along with the movie. While utilizing the same basic gameplay as the original game, Angry Birds Rio added a number of new elements, most notably the first use of boss levels. The game is consistently one of the top downloaded applications on both the App Store and the Play Store.
Angry Birds Star Wars : Nov 8, 2012
Is a crossover, arcade and action game which launched on November 8th, 2012, first for Windows, iOS and Android devices, later also to Mac. The game is the fifth Angry Birds game in the series (excluding Bad Piggies) and was first shown on the Angry Birds Facebook page. The teaser video depicts Black Bird (as Obi-Wan) in a hood holding a Lightsaber, parodying the style of clothing worn by the Jedi in Star Wars.
