Resident Evil 6 has three different campaigns with three main characters, each telling a different aspect of the fight against the global threat of bioterrorism, which in 2013, the year in which the story takes place in the game, is now a constant fear.
We find, therefore, the veteran Leon S. Kennedy and his shoulder Helena Harper forced to fight on the American front against bioterrorism that is to save her reputation, having been charged with the murder of the U.S. President, himself a victim of a biological mutation detection on the eve of World events related to Raccoon City. In Eastern Europe, we follow the story of the mercenary Jake Muller, son of Albert Wesker and also on the run after a terrorist attack. The third story sees the return of Chris Redfield BSAA and his team, working in China, in the fictional town of Lanshiang right in the middle of an invasion of mutated creatures.
In addition to the peculiarities of the three intertwined stories, Resident Evil 6 presents a number of novelties in the gameplay. The structure follows that of the survival horror as it has structured the fourth and fifth installment of the series, but introduces the ability to shoot on the move and use contextual coverage during the clashes. There were also new enemies, as the terrible J'avo, able to attack strategically organizing in groups.
